A Person I Know Well by Mia

I want to talk about my sister, who is a person I know well.

She is a nice, caring person, and she is about 20 years older than me. So, we never fight with each other. She takes very good care of me because I’m the youngest child at home.

She is also quite independent, just like my brother I wrote about. They didn’t take any money from my parents when they were in university.

Why do I adore my sister? Easy. I think my sister is strong. She always does things by herself. Now she has got a son. She still commutes to Taipei to work. That means she always needs to get up early. At night she can't sleep very well because her son needs to be fed. She has to get up for him. It’s a very tiring thing. But she loves her son, she never complains.

Although she has a son, she still takes care of us well. My mom’s and my birthdays are in this month. She wants to take us to Taipei, but I need to do a test, so she’ll only go with my mum. She planned a surprise for me, that my mum and she took a big cake to my school for me to celebrate my birthday with my classmates. That was fantastic.
