A Person I Know Well by Felisha

The person I know well is my mum.

She’s patient with me. She does a lot of work without being tired. When she finishes housework, she teaches me how to do my homework. She’s a superwoman, she looks like a dinosaur when she’s angry, though.

She is very busy, so she needs a rest. In her free time, she always listens to music or binge-watches dramas. I sometimes join her to watch them. She also likes watching fashion shows. She gets excited about the items on the shows. She doesn’t like dramas with complicated plots.

She loves shopping, especially doing it online. There are two platforms that she often visits, Momo and Shopee.

She sometimes makes a fuss when I don’t complete the things I have to do. She will say, “Don’t argue with me!” after I talk back. She’ll tell my dad and I get scolded. Then, I will talk to her quietly, she still shouts at me and everyone around my house can hear her clearly. At that moment, I often think I hate her. After both of us calm down, I know I don’t hate her at all because she’s my mum.

In my mind, my mum is the best person in the world!
